Chris Papp is a Montréal-based senior operator and advisor with more than 25 years of experience across international trade, supply chain, logistics and business transformation. Through SynergAI, he works with organizations where operations, data, technology, governance and implementation need to come together, with a current focus on business transformation, responsible AI, implementation readiness and digital trade infrastructure.

His current work combines practical operating experience with active engagement in digital governance, standards and public-interest infrastructure. He participates in DGSI technical committees covering Data Governance, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Trust & Identity and Connected Cities, and serves on the Standards Council of Canada’s Canadian Mirror Committee for ISO/TC 309, Governance of Organizations. He has also contributed as an invited practitioner to international digital trade and legal modernization work, including UNCITRAL.

Chris is also Founder & CEO of TransPacific Trade Nexus (TPTN), a Canada-first sovereign digital trade infrastructure initiative in development. That work has required translating complex multi-party operating, governance and institutional requirements into practical workflows, functional requirements, implementation pathways and demonstrable prototypes.
