AI Governance Practitioner
Chris Papp is a Montréal-based advisor with 25+ years of experience in global trade, logistics, and export compliance. Through SynergAI, he advises on digital trade infrastructure, paperless trade readiness, AI governance, and standards-aligned modernization for government, institutional, and regulated environments.
His work combines practitioner experience with active engagement in trade standards, digital trust, and public-interest infrastructure design, including DGSI Technical Committees, the Standards Council of Canada’s Canadian Mirror Committee for ISO/TC 309 Governance of Organizations, and invited practitioner participation in the UNCITRAL Colloquium on Digital Platforms Governing Global Trade.
He is also Founder & CEO of TransPacific Trade Nexus (TPTN), a Canada-first sovereign digital trade infrastructure initiative currently at prototype stage, with a demonstrated clickable prototype using fictitious data and pilot structuring in preparation.
